Obama Changes Policy on Jerusalem, No Longer the "Undivided Capital" of Israel

Barack Obama has once again changed a policy.  This time he has decided to stab the Jews in the back after giving that beautifully pandered speech to AIPAC.  Obama stated in his address to AIPAC that "Jersusalem is the undivided capital of Israel" in a shallow attempt to reassure Jewish voters that he will stand by Israel over his support of the Palestinians.  Today Barack Obama is singing a different tune:
"You know, the truth is that this was an example where we had some poor phrasing in the speech, and we immediately tried to correct the interpretation that was given," Obama stated yesterday during an interview on CNN's show, "Fareed Zakaria – GPS."

"The point we were simply making was, is that we don't want barbed wire running through Jerusalem, similar to the way it was prior to the '67 war, that it is possible for us to create a Jerusalem that is cohesive and coherent. I was not trying to predetermine what are essentially final-status issues."
Here's some more the day after his speech to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC):
"Well, obviously, it's going to be up to the parties to negotiate a range of these issues. And Jerusalem will be part of those negotiations," he said in response to a question about whether Palestinians have a legitimate claim to the city.

Obama said "as a practical matter, it would be very difficult to execute" a division of the city. "And I think that it is smart for us to, to work through a system in which everybody has access to the extraordinary religious sites in Old Jerusalem but that Israel has a legitimate claim on that city."
So even though Obama believes it would be difficult to execute a division of Jerusalem, he still feels it's necessary to work through a system which divides Jerusalem.  That certainly doesn't sound like the Barack Obama I know.  Oh wait, yes it does.  None of this should come as a surprise to Jewish voters here in America, or Jews living in Israel.

Obama has a well-known affinity for the Palestinian's invasion of Israel.  He believes so much in their cause that he appointed Daniel Kurtzer as his advisor on Israeli-Palestinian affairs, a man who fully advocates the dividing of Jerusalem between the Jews and Palestinians.  After elected President, it is Obama's intention to appoint Kurtzer as the top U.S. broker on the issue of Arab-Israeli conflict.  Here is what Kurtzer had to say about Jerusalem:
"It will be impossible to make progress on serious peace talks without putting the future of Jerusalem on the table," adviser Daniel Kurtzer said as recently as last month at a conference organized by the Jewish People Policy Planning Institute, or JPPPI.
It doesn't appear as though Obama intends for Jerusalem to remain an "undivided capital".  The fact is that Obama through the Jews under the bus before he ever spoke to AIPAC.  Barack Obama had, nor has, any intention of supporting Israel over the Palestinian terrorists.  The only Jews supporting Obama are the typical liberal self-hating Jews who currently populate the Democrat Party.  These people are like any other liberal who thinks we should negotiate and understand the Palestinians.  If stupid Westerners could simply comprehend the complex issues behind why the Palestinians crack the heads open of Jewish babies using rocks we would see the light and come to support the Palestinian terrorist cause against the evil Israeli empire.

At no time is Barack Obama to be trusted concerning foreign policy with Israel.  He has already lied to Jewish voters once and he won't think twice about doing so again.  The man will say whatever is necessary to whichever group he is speaking to at the moment.  After appeasing AIPAC he went right back to his usual policy of supporting Palestinian terrorists such as Mahmoud Abbas and the Fatah movement.
