Congress vs. King George III

Congress, with a 9% approval rating, is now less popular than King George III was in America during the Revolution.  15% of Americans during the Revolutionary War supported the King of Great Britain.  They were also known as Loyalists, Tories, King's Men, or Royalists.  With 91% of Americans disgusted by our Congress today, what should we call the pathetic 9% who are still holding-out?  Functionally retarded?  Pathologically disordered?  Traitors?

An interesting note; King George III suffered from a hereditary disease called porphyria which, among other horrid symptoms, causes the development of severe psychiatric problems.  From 1811 until his death in 1820 King George III became progressively insane and blind.  He spent his time in isolation and behind bars in his private apartments at Windsor Castle, and was often kept in straight jackets.

Progressively insane and blind?  Any specific Representatives and/or Senators here in America today come to mind?  Could our Congress be suffering from mass-porphyria like King George III?

During the Revolution 85% of us did not support our own British-ruled government, while 91% of us today are clearly aghast by Congress' performance as shown by the latest Rasmussen poll.  We fought a revolution that lasted years against our own government when it held a higher approval rating than our Congress enjoys now.  Have we become that soft?  Are we such cattle that it takes well more than 91% of us to be revolted by our government before we throw the bums out of office?  Our Founding Fathers would obviously not stand for these so-called "representatives" ruling over us like kings when only 9% of the country supports their insanity.

So, with 91% of us opposing our own government, what are we to do?  Simply continue down this suicidal path while Congress picks each of us apart one by one?  Or, do we stand together as free Americans and take our country back?  Those who are elected and paid to represent our interests raise taxes against our will, waste our tax dollars with unapproved spending the likes of which this world has never seen, cut us off from our own natural resources, leave our borders wide-open during a time of war, relinquish our soveriegnty to foreign governments, allowed more than 3,500 innocent people to be murdered by Islamic fascists on 9/11 due to inaction on credible intelligence, prevent our own soldiers from doing their jobs when fighting those who attacked this country on our own soil, and generally refuse to do what they are told.

Our Founding Fathers declared war on the greatest and most powerful military the world had known at the time, just because of taxation without representation.  That, dear reader, is only one in a long list of repeated infractions our current body of government commits on a daily basis.  So far we have done nothing to stop this madness.  In fact, we continue to re-elect them every two years in spite of it all.  If a 9% approval rating for our Congress is not the tipping point, then what is?  5%?  2%?  O%?

Congress is in desperate need of clearly understanding two things.  First, our representatives can and will be thrown out of office through the election process if a large number of policies are not quickly changed for the better.  Second, the Founding Fathers of this great nation did not write the Second Amendment to protect game hunters.
